Celebrated Easter a little early this year!

So we were going to be out of town for Easter this year. Taylor's brother Trey got married the day before Easter so we were in Texas and flew home on Easter. I must admit I was a little bummed out because this was the first Easter Lilly could do a little Easter egg hunt and actually have fun with it. Last year she wasn't even a month old.

Needless to say, my mom is AMAZING! We were over at their house Wednesday night before we left for Texas since my dad was taking us to the airport the next morning. My mom worked all day (8am-6pm) and still came home, made us a yummy Easter dinner and a even better dessert. For Lilly she had a little Easter basket made with great eggs and perfect little snacks inside that we could take on the airplane with us. It was super helpful and thoughtful. Lilly got small boxes of raisins, little pieces of dried fruit, and some Annie's fruit snacks. Lilly knew exactly what to do, how I am not sure....

As you can see she had a great time, found all her eggs and even figured out how to open the eggs! So this is how we celebrated Easter this year. On the real Easter, we were on a plane for 7 hours, with a drugged baby who had a temperature of 104 and had Qdoba for dinner!
